FAQ
Can this work if I train from home?
Yes, I work with clients who only ever train out of their homes, a combo of home and gym environments, or even multiple gyms. The program is designed around your access to equipment and your personal goals.
I've never even gone to the gym before. Do I need previous experience?
Absolutely not! I work with many individuals who started their journey with me not knowing much at all about exercise, how to get started, or what to do. No previous experience or knowledge is required: so long as you are cleared to exercise!
Do you offer nutrition coaching or services?
No, nutritional coaching is outside of my scope of practice as a CPT. However, I do encourage my clients to make their best choices to fuel themselves for recovery, as well as enjoy a healthy life balance with regards to food.
I want to lose weight/get in shape. Can you help?
I am not a weightloss coach. I am firmly 'body neutral' with my approach to working with clients and their goals. An individualized program with an emphasis on resistance training and progressive overload methods, you can expect some body composition changes to reflect muscle growth etc. However, my programs, check ins and accountability will never include questions around your bodyweight.
I am currently pregnant/am planning for a family/post partum - do you work with these types of clients?
Yes! I am CPPC certified with Girls Gone Strong. As a mom and strength athlete, I understand the importance of movement before, during and after pregnancy. My programs can be tailored based on your experience, which stage of pregnancy/post partum you're in, and any medical considerations/contraindications you might have.
Is this just for powerlifting?
Definitely not! I have worked with numerous clients of all ages, stages, physical abilities, goals/interests, medical considerations and situations. My clients have ranged from never been into a gym before, individuals with a focus on endurance/fitness, people just wanting to get strong and build confidence, women trying to regain their understanding of their changing bodies due to pregnancy/menopause - and everything in between!

I believe the foundation of health and fitness absolutely includes developing strength. So, you can definitely expect to get stronger and feel more resilient, regardless if you compete or not!
How many days per week is it?
As all clients are considered individual, weekly training frequency is as well. Majority of my clients choose to train mostly 3-5 days per week, and that is adaptable based on your needs.
How are programs delivered?
All programs are provided in a Google Sheet format, where you enter your training output each session.
